The world we live in is composed of innumerable locations, but the places which are important to us are finite. What does it mean when parts of those important places are removed and sent away to another?
This is where you come in! Send me a small part of a place which is close to your heart, and in exchange you will receive a part of a place which is close to mine. It’s that simple! This can be a small handful of earth from your backyard, a piece of asphalt from your childhood playground, a leaf on that special tree, or a bit of water in the river that runs through your town. You are welcome to make as many submissions as you feel necessary.

Samples should be able to fit within a standard letter envelope and abide by U.S. Postal Service rules and regulations.
